14th Bidding Round of Exploratory Blocks for Oil and Natural Gas expected in the 3Q17

The Brazilian Federal Government will hold the 14th bidding round of Exploratory blocks for oil and natural gas in 3Q17, reported Exame on 24 September 2016, citing the Secretary of Oil, Natural Gas and Renewable Fuels of the Ministry of Mines and Energy, Márcio Félix Carvalho Bezerra. The auction will offer eight sedimentary basins, both on land and at sea. A 2nd bidding round will also be held, under the sharing scheme that should include the blocks Sapinhos, Carcará, Gato do Mato and Tartaruga Verde, the report noted. The 4th bidding round of marginal areas, shall take place in March 2017, the report also noted.

O Governo Federal brasileiro deverá realizar a 14ª Rodada de Licitações de Blocos Exploratórios de Petróleo e Gás Natural no 3º Trimestre de 2017, segundo publicou a Exame em 24 de setembro de 2016, citando ao Secretário de Petróleo, Gás Natural e Combustíveis Renováveis do Ministério de Minas e Energia, Márcio Félix Carvalho Bezerra. De acordo com a publicação, o leilão deverá ofertar oito bacias sedimentares, tanto em terra quanto no mar, e também, será realizada juntamente a 2ª rodada de licitações sob o regime de partilha que deverá incluir os blocos Sapinhos, Carcará, Gato do Mato e Tartaruga Verde. Ainda segundo a notícia, a 4ª Rodada de Licitações de Áreas Marginais deverá ocorrer em março de 2017. |
