According to Transactional Track Record's monthly M&A Report, Latin America's mergers and acquisitions market closed the second quarter of 2019 with a slight decrease in the number of transactions and in moved capital, compared with the same period of 2018. Based on the ranking of analyzed countries, Colombia is the only one that registered an increase both in the number of transactions and in moved capital. Meanwhile, Chile and México registered an increase in moved capital, but the transaction volume decreased. Lastly, Peru, Argentina and Brazil registered a decline both in the number of transactions and in their moved capital, compared with June 2019.
