According to Transactional Track Record's monthly M&A Report, Colombia's mergers and acquisitions market closed the third quarter of the year with 155 deals, reaching USD 8153m in moved capital.
The report provides a quarterly analysis of the Colombian landscape which shows the market's dynamic. It also presents a complete analysis correlating the market's most active sectors, as well as the most prominent transactions of the cross-border segment, which shows US-based companies were the ones which made the most acquisitions of Colombia-based companies year to date. Regarding venture capital, technology companies were the most attractive for investors.
