In November, the Brazilian transactional market registered 61 deals, both announced and closed. The investment volume was approximately BRL 29,60bn, taking into account deals with disclosed values. In the same period last year, 64 deals were recorded generating approximately BRL 5,4bn.

The largest deal this month was the auction of Aeroporto Internacional Tom Jobim, in Rio de Janeiro. The winner was Consórcio Aeroportos do Futuro, constituted by Odebrecht Transport Participacões and Singapore's Changi Airport. The deal value was BRL 19,01bn.

This month the transactional market's activity involving private equity and venture capital firms decreased, compared with October. A total of 13 deals were registered generating BRL 837m, taking into account deals with disclosed values. During the same period last year, 15 deals were recorded generating BRL 734m.

The two most active subsectors this month were consultancy, audit and engineering as well as internet. Regarding internet companies, highlights include investments by venture capital and seed capital funds.
