In the first nine months of 2015, the Brazilian transactional market recorded 712 deals, both announced and closed, which generated approximately BRL 178bn, taking into account deals with disclosed values, according to TTR Monthly Report. In the third quarter of 2015, a total of 230 deals were registered, equivalent to a 17.4% decrease compared with the same period last year, and an investment volume of approximately BRL 73.37m.

The largest deal this quarter was an agreement signed by Banco Bradesco to acquire HSBC Bank Brasil and HSBC Serviços, held by HSBC. The deal value was approximately BRL 17.581bn.
