jetBlue (NASDAQ:JBLU), a US-based airline, announced the official launch of its operations in Havana's José Martí International Airport, in Cuba, in a press release issued on 28 November 2016.

The airline, which announced the launch of its first commercial flight to Cuba in August 2016 (see related intel), began operating on 28 November to Havana from John F. Kennedy Airport in New York and plans direct flights from Orlando and Fort Lauderdale to Havana in the coming weeks.

Cuba becomes the 100th destination of the airline in 22 countries.

jetBlue (NASDAQ:JBLU), aerolínea con sede en Estados Unidos, ha anunciado el lanzamiento oficial de operaciones en el aeropuerto internacional José Martí de La Habana, Cuba, según ha anunciado jetBlue en un comunicado de prensa publicado el 28 de noviembre de 2016.

La aerolínea, que en agosto de 2016 ha anunciado la inauguración su primer vuelo comercial a Cuba (ver Intel relacionado), ha iniciado el 28 de noviembre sus operaciones a La Habana desde el Aeropuerto John F. Kennedy, de Nueva York y proyecta en las próximas semanas vuelos sin escalas desde Orlando y Fort Lauderdale hacia La Habana.
