State-owned company Yacimientos Petrolíferos Fiscales Bolivianos (YPFB) hired Bolivia-based Geological Electromagnetics Exploration (GEM) to begin exploration of Aguaragüe natural reserve in Colombia, as reported by newspaper El Día on 27 July 2015.

The contract was signed by YPFB's president Guillermo Achá and GEM's representative Ricardo Morales Lavadenz, in Santa Cruz.

The project will cost USD 1.6m, GEM has 30 days to collect information and another 270 days to process and interpret data, and submit results to YPFB.

La empresa estatal Yacimientos Petrolíferos Fiscales Bolivianos (YPFB) ha contratado a la empresa boliviana Geological Electromagnetics Exploration (GEM) para iniciar estudios en un sector de la reserva natural Aguaragüe (Colombia), según ha informado el diario El Día el 27 de julio de 2015.

El contrato ha sido firmado por el presidente de YPFB, Guillermo Achá, y el representante de la firma boliviana Geological Electromagnetics Exploration (GEM), Ricardo Morales Lavadenz, en un acto en la región de Santa Cruz.

El proyecto, tendrá un coste de USD 1,6m, GEM tendrá 30 días para recolectar la información y otros 270 para procesar e interpretar los datos, y entregar los resultados finales a la estatal boliviana.
