Uber, a US-based developer of a platform that connects individual drivers and passengers, confirmed the launch of operations in the Dominican Republic, reported Hosteltur on 20 October, 2015. Uber market launcher for Larin America, Ansell Borges, will be in charge of launching the service in Santo Domingo to guarantee the development and growth of the business in the country. Uber in present in 250 cities in 50 countries and is worth around USD 40bn.

La empresa estadounidense Uber, dedicada al desarrollo de una plataforma que pone en contacto a conductores particulares y pasajeros, ha confirmado el inicio de sus operaciones en República Dominicana, según ha comunicado Hosteltur el 20 de octubre de 2015. Para llevar a cabo esta apertura de operaciones, Ansell Borges será el responsable del lanzamiento del servicio en Santo Domingo para garantizar el desarrollo y crecimiento del negocio en el país. Uber está presente en 250 ciudades de 50 países y está valorada en unos USD 40.000m. |
