A petroleira francesa Total traçou planos ambiciosos para expandir sua atuação no Brasil. A companhia deverá investir este ano USD 300m em exploração. Esse valor representa 10% do orçamento global do grupo para óleo e gás. E é, sem a menor sombra de dúvida, o maior investimento feito pela companhia será no Brasil. Os aportes da companhia em óleo e gás até 2020 estão estimados em, no mínimo, USD 2bi no país. A decisão de que o Brasil era estratégico para a matriz foi tomada há cerca de três anos. |
