Thomas Cook, a Britain-based hotel group, has entered Cape Verde launching two hotels on Sal Island, reported Macauhub on 23 November 2016, citing the company's Vice President Bjorne Sandstrom . Accordint to the news, the group intends do launch its own hotels, which should receive the first guests in the winter 2017/2018. Thomas Cook will manage two holtels of New Horizons Hotel Resorts complex, the Sunprime Hotels and the Sunwing Family Resorts.

O Grupo Thomas Cook, empresa britânica que atua no setor hoteleiro, entra em Cabo Verde com a abertura de dois hotéis na ilha do Sal, segundo publicou o Macauhub no dia 23 de novembro de 2016, citando o Vice-Presidente do grupo, Bjorne Sandstrom. De acordo com a notícia, o grupo britânico pretende abrir hotéis de marca própria em Cabo Verde, que deverão receber os primeiros hóspedes no Inverno 2017/2018. Trata-se do complexo New Horizons Hotel Resorts, orçado em EUR 80m, que terá dois hotéis geridos pela marca do Thomas Cook Hotel Brands, o Sunprime Hotels, um hotel cujo segmento é reservado a adultos, ou seja, maiores de 16 anos e o Sunwing Family Resorts, direcionado para famílias. |
