Spanish group constituted by Melia Hotels (BME MEL), Pisan Nautica, Insotel Marine, C4T and Estudio 7 was selected by the Cuban authorities in the final stage of an international bidding process to develop a hotel resort in Havana, as published by newspaper El Periodico on 7 December 2015. The deal is valued at EUR 400m, and is part of development project for Marina Hemingway, which includes the construction of 500-room for two five-star hotels. The investment will be made through joint venture modality - the winner jointly with Cuban company - and the winner would manage the hotel resort. The winner will submit an investment proposal by Monday, 30 December. The tender result will be announced on 29 February 2016.

El grupo español integrado por Meliá Hotels (BME MEL), Pisan Náutica, Insotel Marine, C4T y Estudio 7, ha sido seleccionado por las autoridades cubanas en la fase final de un proceso de licitación internacional para desarrollar un complejo turístico en La Habana, según ha informado El Periódico el 7 de diciembre de 2015. La licitación, que está valorada en unos EUR 400m, forma parte del proyecto de desarrollo integral de la Marina Hemingway, que incluye la construcción de hasta 500 habitaciones de dos hoteles de cinco estrellas. El desarrollo de la inversión se realizará mediante la modalidad de empresa mixta -el ganador junto con una empresa cubana-, y el adjudicatario gestionaría las instalaciones hoteleras del complejo. Las empresas finalistas presentarán la propuesta de inversión hasta el lunes 30 de diciembre, y el resultado de la licitación se conocerá el 29 de febrero de 2016. |
