South Korea wants to increase its presence in Mexico, despite the absence of a trade agreement between the two countries. The plan is to explore market opportunities to increase exchange of goods and services, as published by newspaper El Universal on 19 October 2015.

South Korean Bahk Sahng-hoon, Ministry of Foreign Affairs´ CEO for Latin American CEO, said the South Korean cumulative investment in Mexican companies will be USD 6,000m in 2016, and trade between the two regions tripled, in 2014, despite not having a free trade agreement.

Corea quiere ampliar su presencia México, a pesar de no haber entre ambos países un tratado de libre comercio, explorando oportunidades en el mercado para incrementar el intercambio de bienes y servicios, según ha publicado el periódico El Universal el 19 de octubre de 2015.

Bahk Sahng-hoon, director general coreano en Latinoamérica del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores, ha declarado que la inversión acumulada de empresas surcoreanas en México será de USD 6.000m en el 2016 y que el comercio se ha triplicado en 2014 entre ambas regiones, a pesar de no tener un tratado de libre comercio en común.
