Sinochem Corporation, a China-based oil company, is studying the sale of its 40% stake in Brazil's Peregrino field in Campos Basin, reported Reuters on 21 February 2017. According to the news, Sinochem considers selling its largest oil and gas stakes overseas and is reviewing its oil assets. The company paid USD 3.07bn for the asset in 2010, beating Chinese business. Statoil holds the other 60% Peregrino, which is the largest heavy oil field operated by the company outside Norway.

A Sinochem Corporation, empresa chinesa que atua no setor petrolífero, estuda a venda de sua fatia de 40% no campo brasileiro de Peregrino, na Bacia de Campos, segundo publicou a Reuters no dia 21 de fevereiro de 2017. Segundo a notícia, a Sinochem está se movendo para vender a maior participação em óleo e gás que detém no exterior, em meio a uma revisão de seus ativos para refletir a queda dos preços do petróleo nos últimos dois anos e meio. A empresa pagou USD 3,07bi pelo ativo em 2010, vencendo uma série de rivais chinesas em busca de ativos de alta qualidade. A Statoil detém os outros 60% Peregrino, que é o maior campo de petróleo pesado operado pela companhia fora da Noruega. |
