Sercotel, a Spain-based hotel operator, announced it plans to incorporate around 10 establishments in Latin America, reported Inversión y Finanzas on 18 January 2017, citing Sercotel president Marisol Turró. The company, which has announced its expansion in the region since 2015 and launched operations in Cuba, Ecuador and Panama in 2016 (see related intel), confirmed it will add around 28 hotels, of which it expects to expand eight to ten in Latin America, and the rest in Spain and Europe in 2017. Turro noted the goal of the company in 2017 is to increase its presence in Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and Ecuador.

Sercotel, cadena hotelera española, ha anunciado que prevé incorporar alrededor de 10 establecimientos en América Latina, según ha informado Inversión y Finanzas el 18 de enero de 2017, citando a la presidenta Sercotel, Marisol Turró. La compañía, que desde 2015 ha anunciado su expansión en la región y que en 2016 ha anunciado el inicio de sus operaciones en Cuba, Ecuador y Panamá (ver Intels relacionados), ha confirmado que en 2017 sumará alrededor 28 hoteles, de los cuales prevé expandir entre ocho y diez en Latinoamérica y el resto en España y Europa. Según ha manifestado Garro, la intención de la cadena para 2017 pasa por incrementar su presencia en México, República Dominicana y Ecuador. |
