South Korea-based Samsung showed interest in acquiring a minority stake in Argentina-based Grupo Mirgor, as published by newspaper Cronista on 27 July 2015.

In the meantime and as part of negotiations, the companies reached an agreement to produce a first lot of Samsung televisions in Rio Grande's factory.

La empresa coreana Samsung ha mostrado interés por ingresar como accionista minoritario en la empresa argentina Grupo Mirgor, según ha publicado el diario Cronista el 27 de julio de 2015.

Mientras tanto y como parte de esas conversaciones, llegaron a un acuerdo para producir en la planta de Río Grande la primer partida de televisores de la compañía coreana.
