Synopsis

Spanish construction companies Sacyr and OHL entered a bid to acquire the construction works a Paso de los Libertadores' new facilities, which is the main frontier between Chile and Argentina. Besides Sacyr and OHL there are other interested local companies.

The project consists of building new facilities in the Andes mountains, at approximately 3.000 meters of altitude, at 300 meters from the current complex and at 68 km from Los Andes, Valparaíso. The estimated value is USD 84m.

Las constructoras españolas Sacyr y OHL han entrado en la puja para hacerse con la obra de construcción de las nuevas instalaciones del Paso de los Libertadores, el principal paso fronterizo entre Argentina y Chile. Además de las españolas también hay interesadas varias entidades locales.

El proyecto se estima en unos USD 84m y consiste en la construcción de unas nuevas instalaciones en la cordillera de los Andes, a unos 3.000 metros de altitud, a 300 metros del actual complejo y a 68 kilómetros de la ciudad de Los Andes, en la región de Valparaíso.
