Repsol (BME: REP) board could be analyzing the sale of a 10% stake in Gas Natural (BME: GAS), as published by newspaper Expansión on 25 February 2016. This transaction could be carried out soon, and involves a partial divestment in Gas Natural by Repsol, which owns 30% of the capital. In the last few days, Fundación La Caixa has been analyzing with Repsol, headed by Antonio Brufau, which percentage of Gas Natural it could sell without damaging its syndication agreement or its value. The objective would be to raise funds and avoid a downgrading its credit rating, which involves a debt valued at EUR 13bn.

El consejo de Repsol (BME: REP) podría estar analizando la venta de hasta un 10% del accionariado de Gas Natural (BME: GAS), según ha publicado el diario Expansión el día 25 de febrero de 2016. La operación, que podría producirse próximamente, supone una desinversión parcial de Repsol en Gas Natural, de la que tiene un paquete accionarial del 30%. En los últimos días, Fundación La Caixa ha estado analizando con Repsol, grupo presidido por Antonio Brufau, qué porcentaje de Gas Natural podría vender la petrolera sin dañar el pacto de sindicación ni la cotización de la gasista. El objetivo de la venta sería obtener recursos y así evitar una rebaja de la calificación crediticia de la empresa, sobre la que pesa una deuda neta de más de EUR 13.000m. |
