Praedium, a Spanish private equity firm, is studying the possibility of having new investing partners to reactivate Montefibre, as published by website Modaes.es on 8 February 2016. The investment group is negotiating with potential companies and individuals interested in becoming shareholders of Montefibre, which has been inactive for almost three years. Specifically, Praedium aims to resume operations in the fiber factory in less than two months. In May 2015, the investment group acquired Montefibre, after a creditors' agreement through which the company abandoned its bankruptcy situation. (See related transaction)

Praedium, firma de private equity española, está estudiando la posibilidad de negociar la entrada de más inversores para la reapertura de Montefibre, según ha informado el portal Modaes.es el 8 de febrero de 2016. El grupo inversor está en conversaciones con posibles empresas y personas interesadas en entrar en el capital de la empresa de hilatura Montefibre, la cual se encuentra fuera de operaciones desde hace casi tres años. En concreto, Praedium contempla poder reanudar la actividad de las instalaciones en menos de dos meses. En mayo de 2015, el grupo inversor cerró la compra de Montefibre, después de aprobarse el convenio de acreedores con el que la empresa abandonó su situación concursal. (Ver transacción relacionada) |
