Pemex, a Mexico-based state-owned oil company, will hold 45% of the consortium that will explore and exploit the Trión field in deep waters of the Gulf of Mexico, reported El Financiero on 27 July 2016, citing the decision of the national hydrocarbon commission (CNH). The CNH stipulated the rest of the partners of the consortium must have a structure with an operator, which will hold between 30% and 45%, another operator with 10% to 25%, and a partner, with a maximum of 10%. Those interested in partnering with Pemex will have to prove they have experience in operating at least one project of 1,500 m of draft in very deep waters, as well as having produced 50,000 barrels of oil in a similar field between 2011 and 2015. Pemex, petrolera estatal mexicana, será la dueña del 45% del consorcio que explore y explote el campo Trión en aguas profundas del Golfo de México, ha publicado El Financiero el 27 de julio de 2016, citando la decisión de la Comisión Nacional de Hidrocarburos. La CNH ha estipulado que el resto de los socios del consorcio deberán tener una estructura con un operador, que tendrá entre un 30% y 45%, otro operador, con un 10% a 25% y un socio, con un máximo del 10%. Los interesados en asociarse con Pemex deberán demostrar que tienen experiencia en operar al menos un proyecto de 1.500 m de tirante en aguas muy profundas, además de haber producido 50.000 barriles de petróleo en algún campo de este tipo entre 2011 y 2015. El campo Trión es el primer farmout de la petrolera estatal (ver intels relacionado). |
