According to the report, the company would retained UBS to explore strategic alternatives for its subsidiary of fertilizers, including a potential sale, now that Pemex would be seeking capital.

The State oil company includes the sale of non-strategic assets as it seeks to improve its operations and strengthen its balance sheet.

Pemex, petrolera estatal mexicana, habría contratado a UBS (SIX:UBSN; NYSE:UBS), entodad financiera con sede en Zurich, Suiza, con el objetivo de poner a la venta su filial de fertilizantes Grupo Fertinal, según ha informado El Financiero el 12 de enero de 2017, citando información de Bloomberg.

Según lo publicado, la compañía habría contratado a UBS para explorar alternativas estratégicas para su filial de fertilizantes, incluyendo una venta potencial, ahora que Pemex estaría buscando capital.

La petrolera estatal contempla la venta de activos no estratégicos a medida que busca mejorar sus operaciones y consolidar su balance.
