Pemex, a Mexico-based state-owned oil company, could participate in Ronda 2 tenders, as well as partner with private companies for the development of shallow-water fields, announced the department of energy of Mexico (Sener) in a press release issued on 27 July 2016. Specifically, the Sener noted that, along with the national hydrocarbons commission (CNH) and the department of finance and public credit, it would work with Pemex so that the oil company may be able to participate in the tenders of Ronda 2. Additionally, the Sener added it may soon announce potential partnerships for Pemex to develop shallow-water fields. The second round of hydrocarbon tenders will be carried out in March 2017 (see related intel).

Pemex, petrolera estatal mexicana, podría participar en licitaciones de Ronda 2, además de asociarse con privados para el desarrollo de campos en aguas someras, ha anunciado la Secretaría de Energía (Sener) en una nota de prensa publicada el 27 de julio de 2016. En concreto, la Sener ha señalado que, junto con la Comisión Nacional de Hidrocarburos y la Secretaría de Hacienda y Crédito Público, trabajaría con Pemex para que pueda participar en las licitaciones de la Ronda 2. Además, en breve la Sener anunciaría potenciales asociaciones de Pemex para desarrollar campos en aguas someras. La Ronda 2 de licitaciones de hidrocarburos se llevará a cabo en marzo de 2017 (ver intel relacionado). |
