Private equity fund Pátria Investimentos put NovaAgri up for sale. The company focuses on logistics and was acquired in 2010. Investment bank Morgan Stanley is structuring this deal, which was put up for sale for USD 1bn. Some of NovaAgri's assets are a port terminal, eight warehouses - in Bahia, Mato Grosso, Tocantins and Maranhão - two grain transshipment units along railway Norte-Sul, with direct access to grain terminal Terminal de Grãos do Maranhão (Tegram).

O negócio está sendo estruturado pelo banco de investimento americano Morgan Stanley e foi à mercado a USD 1bi. Entre os ativos da NovaAgri estão o terminal portuário, oito armazéns - distribuídos por Bahia, Mato Grosso, Tocantins e Maranhão - e duas unidades de transbordo de grãos ao longo do ferrovia Norte-Sul, que dará acesso direto ao Terminal de Grãos do Maranhão (Tegram). |
