La empresa sudafricana Paramount Group, especializada en los sectores de seguridad y defensa, y la empresa pública española Navantia, dedicada a la fabricación de buques y sistemas de control de la industria naval, han firmado un acuerdo para buscar oportunidades conjuntas de negocio en Sudáfrica y otros países del continente africano, según ha señalado Paramount Group en una nota de prensa del 19 de octubre de 2015. En concreto, el acuerdo identifica varias áreas de colaboración, como la transferencia de tecnología, apoyo al ciclo de vida, integración de sistemas de combate y de control de plataforma (incluyendo productos para Ejército de Tierra), gestión de compras y formación en mantenimiento. |
