Oil companies Canada-based Pacific Rubiales and Colombia-based Ecopetrol announced they will not exploration contracts with Riesgo Rubiales and Asociación Pirirí, which expire in June 2016. From that time, Ecopetrol will study different alternatives to operate Campo Rubiales. On the other hand, Pacific Rubiales Energy will study the possibility of submitting an offer to operate this asset.

La compañía canadiense Pacific Rubiales y la compañía colombiana Ecopetrol, ambas dedicadas a la exploración y extracción de petróleo, han anunciado que no renovarán los contratos de participación de Riesgo Rubiales y de Asociación Pirirí que expiran en junio de 2016. A partir de entonces, Ecopetrol evaluará diferentes alternativas para la operación del campo Rubiales, y por su parte, Pacific Rubiales Energy estudiará la posibilidad de presentar una propuesta para operar este activo. |
