Nike (NYSE:NKE), a Beaverton, Oregon-based manufacturer and retailer of sports apparel, accessories, and footwear, will open a logistics center in Honduras, the company's first in Latin America, reported La Prensa on 25 August 2016, citing Asociación Hondureña de Maquiladores (AHM) President Mario Canahuati. Specifically, the US-based company will set up the logistics center in Calpules, San Pedro Sula. Canahuati noted the facilities will concentrate the products that will later be sold in the United States. The logistics center will create 25,000 jobs in the next five-year period.

En concreto, la empresa estadounidense instalará el centro logístico en Calpules, San Pedro Sula.
