Ecopetrol (BVC:ECOPETROL; NYSE:EC), a Colombia-based state-owned oil company, announced its minority shareholders signed an agreement to nominate Juan Echavarría Soto as an independent board member, in a filing published by regulator Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia on 4 August 2016. The appointment will be put to consideration in the next shareholders' general extraordinary assembly of the oil company.

La designación de Echavarría será puesta a consideración en la próxima asamblea general extraordinaria de accionistas de la petrolera. |
