AENA (BME:AENA), a Spain-based semi-public manager of Spain's airports, could increase its percentage of private shareholders, reported ABC on 21 November 2016, citing Minister of Public Works Iñigo de la Serna. Since the government launched a takeover offer in 2015, AENA is controlled with 51% by the state, through ENAIRE. According to de la Serna, extending the privatization of the company would improve its position, as well as initiate a process of international expansion. The firm manages 46 airports and two heliports. It controls 51% of Luton Airport (London) and is present in 12 airports in Mexico, two in Colombia and one in Jamaica.

AENA (BME:AENA), empresa semipública dedicada a la gestión de los aeropuertos españoles, podría aumentar su porcentaje de accionariado privado, según ha informado ABC el 21 de noviembre de 2016, citando al ministro de Fomento, Íñigo de la Serna. Desde que en 2015 el Gobierno lanzase un Oferta Pública de Venta (OPV), AENA está controlada en un 51% por el Estado a través de ENAIRE. Según de la Serna, ampliar la privatización de la empresa permitiría mejorar su posición, al igual que iniciar un proceso de expansión internacional. La gestora aeroportuaria está integrada por 46 aeropuertos y dos helipuertos. Controla el 51% del aeropuerto de Luton (Londres) y tiene presencia en 12 aeropuertos en México, dos en Colombia y uno en Jamaica. |
