The Mexican government will seek to encourage Mexico-based companies to invest in Cuba, in order to strengthen the economic bonds between the two countries, reported El Financiero on 6 November, 2015, citing the Mexican and Cuban presidents, Enrique Peña Nieto and Raúl Castro. Castro noted there are Mexico-based companies interested in investing in Cuba in the agricultural and tourism industries. He added the experience of Mexican companies in these sectors will prove to be of great support to the update of the Cuban economic model. The heads of state signed five cooperation agreements regarding migration, academic collaboration, food, education, and tourism.

El gobierno de México buscará impulsar a las empresas mexicanas a invertir en Cuba, con el objetivo de fortalecer los lazos económicos entre los dos países, ha publicado El Financiero el 6 de noviembre de 2015, citando a los presidentes mexicano y cubano, Enrique Peña Nieto y Raúl Castro. Castro ha señalado que existen empresas mexicanas interesadas en invertir en Cuba en la industria agrícola y el turismo. Ha añadido que la experiencia de las empresas mexicanas en esos sectores representará un gran apoyo a la actualización del modelo económico cubano. Los mandatarios han firmado cinco acuerdos de cooperación con respecto a migración, colaboración académica, alimentación, educación y turismo. |
