Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras held a meeting to negotiate the construction of a gas pipeline that will cross Mexico and link Central America.

The meeting participants were Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID), to share the preliminary results of studies conducted in Central American countries, and Bureau of Energy Resources of the State Department of the United States.

México, El Salvador, Guatemala y Honduras han mantenido una reunión en la que se han mantenido conversaciones para el inicio de las negociaciones para la construcción de un gasoducto, que atravesará México y que comunicará Estados Unidos con Centroamérica.

En dicha reunión ha participado el Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID), para compartir los resultados preliminares de los estudios realizados en los países centroamericanos, y también el Bureau of Energy Resources, del Departamento de Estado de Estados Unidos.
