El grupo hotelero canadiense Sunwing Travel Group ha anunciado que invertirá en el sector turístico mexicano alrededor de USD 250m. Parte de la inversión se destinará a la construcción de un hotel (Royalton Riviera Cancún) de 1.250 habitaciones en Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo, en 2014. El área de turismo de México se ha propuesto incrementar la inversión pública y privada en infraestructura y espera pasar del 2,4% del Producto Interno Bruto al 4% en los próximos seis años. |
