Juan Valdez Café, a Bogota, Colombia-based coffee producer, announced the opening of its first store in the island of Curaçao, in the Caribbean, in a press release issued on 8 June, 2016. The new store is located in the Hato International Airport, minutes away from the capital, Willemstad. It is the first of three locations the Colombia-based company hopes to open on the island in the coming three years. Juan Valdez entry into Curaçao was reported in January 2016 (see related intel).

Juan Valdez Café, empresa colombiana productora de café, ha anunciado la apertura de su primera tienda en la isla de Curaçao, en el Caribe, en una nota de prensa publicada el 8 de junio de 2016. La nueva tienda está ubicada en el Aeropuerto Internacional Hato, a minutos de la capital, Willemstad. Es la primera de tres locaciones que la empresa colombiana espera abrir en la isla en los próximos tres años.
