Intersport Spain's CEO, Ignasi Puig, announced that brand The Athlete’s Foot, which is commercialized in the US, will soon open stores in the Spanish market, as reported by newspaper Expansión in an article published on 30 April 2015. Ignasi Puig said the company will decide when to open stores in Spain in their next Board meeting. In addition, Puig does not rule out searching for foreign investors as partners, although he says there aren't any ongoing negotiations.

El consejero delegado de Intersport Spain, Ignasi Puig, ha anunciado que la marca de Intersport The Athlete’s Foot, que se comercializa en Estados Unidos, llegará al mercado español próximamente, según ha comunicado el diario Expansión en una información del día 30 de abril de 2015. Ignasi Puig ha señalado que en la próxima reunión del Consejo de Administración de la compañía se decidirá cuándo empiezan las aperturas de Athlete’s Foot en España. Además, Ignasi Puig no descarta dar entrada en el accionariado de la compañía a inversores externos, aunque añade que no hay ninguna negociación al respecto. |
