Spanish airline Iberia (BME: IBL) will once again fly to Cuba, after two years without routes to the Island for lack of profitability, as reported by newspaper Terra on 3 June 2015.

Iberia's president, Luis Gallego, said on arrival at Jose Marti International Airport in Havana, this emblematic route was resumed so that it remains one of the airline's favorite. Gallego also added that the company will continue flying to Venezuela despite the problems with the government regarding the seizure of EUR 200m.

La aerolínea española Iberia (BME: IBL) vuelve a volar a Cuba tras estar dos años sin operar por falta de rentabilidad, según ha publicado el medio Terra el 3 de junio de 2015.

El presidente de la aerolinea, Luis Gallego, manifestó a su llegada al Aeropuerto Internacional José Martí de La Habana, que se retomaba esta ruta tan emblemática para que siga siendo una de las preferidas de la aerolínea. El empresario también Ha añadido que la compañia seguirá volando a Venezuela pese a los problemas que tiene con el gobierno respecto al embargo de EUR 200m.
