Mexico's federal electricity commission (CFE) announced as winner of the Noroeste combined cycle plant tender Iberdrola Generación México, power producer and subsidiary of Spain-based Iberdrola (BME:IBE), in a press release issued on 4 April, 2016. The project includes the design, construction, set-up, maintenance, and operation of a combined cycle plant, located in Ahome, Sinaloa, fueled with natural gas. Construction is estimated to last 30 months. It will launch operations in January 2019. Iberdrola Generación México plans to invest USD 334.5m.

La Comisión Federal de Electricidad (CFE) de México ha anunciado como ganador de la licitación de la central de ciclo combinado Noroeste a Iberdrola Generación México, productora de energía eléctrica y filial de la española Iberdrola (BME:IBE), en un comunicado de prensa publicado el 4 de abril de 2016. El proyecto incluye el diseño, construcción, puesta en servicio, mantenimiento y operación de una central de ciclo combinado, ubicada en Ahome, Sinaloa, que operará con gas natural. Se estima que la construcción demorará 30 meses. Comenzará a operar en enero de 2019. Iberdrola Generación México prevé invertir USD 334,5m. |
