Grupo Cartes, a Paraguay-based tobacco and beverage manufacturer, signed a letter of intent with US-based hotel operator Hilton Worldwide (NYSE:HLT) for the arrival in the country of hotel chain Hilton Hotels & Resorts, reported Hoy on 7 December, 2015, citing Hilton Worldwide senior VP of development for Latin America, Ted Middleton. The five-star hotel will be located in Asunción and will require an investment of approximately USD 30m. The definitive agreement is expected to be signed in 1Q16. Middleton noted the agreement represents an important milestone in its regional growth strategy and expansion to new markets.

Grupo Cartes, fabricante paraguaya de tabaco y bebidas, ha firmado una carta de intención con Hilton Worldwide (NYSE:HLT), gestora hotelera estadounidense, para la llegada al país de la cadena hotelera Hilton Hotels & Resorts, ha publicado Hoy el 7 de diciembre de 2015, citando al vicepresidente senior de desarrollo para Latinoamérica de Hilton Worldwide, Ted Middleton. El hotel de cinco estrellas estará ubicado en Asunción y requerirá una inversión de aproximadamente USD 30m. El acuerdo definitivo se firmaría en el primer trimestre de 2016.
