A trade mission from Guatemala has shown interest in business opportunities in China, reported Prensa Libre on 12 August, 2015. Guatemala’s main imports from China are electronics, machinery, iron, and vehicles. Foreign trade coordinator at Guatemala’s chamber of commerce, Sofía Velásquez, explained that the goal is for importing companies to become familiar with the requirements and opportunities to do business with Chinese suppliers. The companies seek lab products, medical instruments, plastics, auto parts, tools, phones, accessories, tablets, and computers.

Una misión comercial de Guatemala se ha mostrado interesada en la búsqueda de negocios en China, según ha informado el diario Prensa Libre el 12 de agosto de 2015. Los principales productos importados por Guatemala de China son los eléctricos, la maquinaria, el hierro y los vehículos. Sofía Velásquez, coordinadora de comercio exterior de la Cámara de Comercio, ha explicado que el objetivo es que las empresas importadoras de Guatemala puedan conocer los requisitos y oportunidades para hacer negocios con proveedores de este país. Las empresas buscan productos para laboratorio, instrumentos médicos, productos plásticos, auto partes, herramientas, teléfonos, accesorios, tablets y odenadores. |
