Grupo Financiero Banorte's chairman, Carlos Hank González, said the company will not acquire other financial institutions. According to Hank, their main objective today is make Banorte not the biggest bank, but the best in Mexico. In addition, Hank also said Banorte's plans include creating an infrastructure fund in which the bank will inject USD 50m, and it will have USD 450m from other investors.

El presidente del Consejo de Administración del Grupo Financiero Banorte, Carlos Hank González, ha declarado que la entidad financiera no está interesada en realizar ninguna adquisición de otras instituciones financieras. Según Hank, el objetivo principal de la entidad financiera a día de hoy es volver al grupo Banorte no el banco más grande, sino el mejor de México. Además, según el presidente, dentro de los planes de Banorte está la creación de un fondo de infraestructura al que el banco aportará USD 50m y contará con el capital por USD 450m, de otros inversionistas. |
