According to Reuters, Cemig hired at least three investment banks to prepare the sale of small hydroelectric power plants and a gas distribution unit. The company hired Itaú BBA to prepare the sale of the gas unit, known as Gasmig, and also mandated Banco do Brasil and BTG Pactual to coordinate the sale of some of the company's 24 small hydroelectric power plants, all located in Minas Gerais.

O Grupo Cemig (BVMF:CMIG4; NYSE:CIG), com sede no estado de Minas Gerais e que se dedica ao segmento de energia elétrica e gás, teria contratado bancos para vender hidrelétrica e negócio de gás, segundo publicou a Reuters no dia 05 de julho de 2016. De acordo com a notícia, a Cemig contratou ao menos três bancos de investimento para preparar a venda de pequenas centrais hidrelétricas e uma unidade de distribuição de gás. A empresa teria contratado o Itaú BBA para preparar a venda da unidade de gás, conhecida como Gasmig, e também deu mandato ao Banco do Brasil e ao BTG Pactual para coordenar a venda de algumas das 24 pequenas centrais hidrelétricas da companhia, todas localizadas em Minas Gerais. |
