O Governo do Rio de Janeiro, juntamente com o Ministério da Fazenda do Brasil, está estruturando a venda da Companhia Estadual de Águas e Esgotos (Cedae), estratégia que faz parte do plano de recuperação fiscal do Estado, de acordo com publicação do Valor Econômico em 10 de janeiro de 2017, que cita fontes familiares com o assunto.
