Glencore (LSE:GLEN), a Switzerland-based mining company, announced postponing the sale on Lombas Bayas mine in Chile, as published by Diario Fianciero on 1 April 2016. The sale process began in October last, and has attracted possible buyers such as Chile-based Copec and Aaron Regent, former CEO of Barrick Gold (see related intel). It has been postponed because Glencore received proposal economically insufficient. It was disclosed the offers ranged between USD 500m and USD 650m.

Glencore (LSE:GLEN), empresa suiza dedicada al sector de minerales, ha anunciado el aplazamiento de la venta de la mina chilena Lomas Bayas, según ha informado Diario Financiero el 1 de abril de 2016. El proceso de venta, que ha iniciado en octubre y que ha contado con interesados como la chilena Copec y Aaron Regent, ex CEO de Barrick Gold (ver Intels relacionados), ha sido retrasada por Glencore al recibir propuestas económicas insatisfactorias para sus pretensiones. Se ha informado que las ofertas apuntan a cifras entre los USD 500m y hasta los USD 650m. |
