Glencore (LON:GLEN), a Switzerland-based mining company, and Origin Energy, an Australia-based oil company, could jointly sell 100% of its Chile-based joint venture, Energía Austral, a hydropower project developer, reported Diario Financiero on 3 June, 2016. According to the report, the companies retained an unidentified Asian bank and France-based BNP Paribas (Euronext Paris:BNP) to carry out the sale process. In the last few days, Glencore and Origin finalized the fitting out of the documents for the digital data room to which interested bidders will have access, the report stated. The potential sale of Energía Austral by Glencore was already reported in January (see related intel).

Glencore (LON:GLEN), minera suiza, y Origin Energy, petrolera australiana, venderían conjuntamente el 100% de su joint venture chilena, Energía Austral, dedicada al desarrollo de proyectos hidroeléctricos, ha publicado Diario Financiero el 3 de junio de 2016. Según lo publicado, las empresas han contratado a un banco asiático cuya indentidad no ha trascendido y al francés BNP Paribas (Euronext Paris:BNP) para llevar a cabo el proceso de venta. Durante estos últimos días, Glencore y Origin habrían concluido la habilitación de los documentos para el data room digital al que podrán acceder los interesados, de acuerdo con la información. La potencial venta de Energía Austral por parte de Glencore ya se había informado en enero (ver intel relacionado). |
