Las aerolíneas latinoamericanas Latina GOL Linhas Aereas (BVMF: GOLL4), LATAM Airlines Group (BVMF: LATM11), Azul Linhas Aéreas, Copa Airlines y Avianca Brasil, podrían vender acciones, según ha públicado el portal Exame el 3 de Noviembre 2.015.

Las empresas pierden USD 13bi de su valor de mercado desde enero de 2014 y en hoy valen 68% menos si la crisis avanza, las fusiones y adquisiciones puede ser la salida para la supervivencia de las empresas.

GOL Linhas Aereas (BVMF: GOLL4) ya ha estudiando hacer una operación de venta y arrendamiento de aviones y puede recaudar hasta USD 400m. Si la crisis se agrava, la empresa puede vender acciones a la importante compañía estadounidense Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL).

LATAM Airlines Group, propietario de TAM y LAN contaba con USD 1.600,00m en efectivo en junio de 2015, pero el riesgo financiero ha sido considerado alto por los analistas de mercado.

La aerolínea Azul Linhas Aéreas tiene opciones para levantar capital si es necesario, con la venta de su programa de puntos Tudo Azul, a fondos de capital privado.
