Four China-based companies bid for Rositas hydroelectric project

Sinotec, PowerChina, and China Gezhouba Group Company, based in China, as well as Chinese-Bolivian entity Asociación Accidental Rositas, submitted bids for the construction and operation of the Rositas hydroelectric project, announced Empresa Nacional de Electricidad (ENDE) on 11 August 2016, citing Bolivian Hydrocarbons Minister Luis Alberto Sánchez. The Rositas hydroelectric project, which is in the final design phase, could have an installed capacity of more than 400 MW and require an investment of over USD 1bn. The project allocation is expected at the end of August 2016, while the signing of the contract is scheduled for mid-September. The project is expected to begin its activity in 2024.

Las empresas chinas Sinotec, PowerChina y China Gezhouba Group Company, así como la china-boliviana Asociación Accidental Rositas, han presentado ofertas para construir y poner en marcha el proyecto hidroeléctrico Rositas, según ha señalado la Empresa Nacional de Electricidad (ENDE) de Bolivia el 11 de agosto de 2016, citando al Ministro de Hidrocarburos del país, Luis Alberto Sánchez. El proyecto hidroeléctrico Rositas, que se encuentra en Estudio a Diseño Final, podría contar con una potencia instalada superior a 400 MW y podría requerir una inversión superior a USD 1.000m. Se espera que la adjudicación se realice a finales del mes de agosto de 2016, y la empresa ganadora firme el contrato a mediados de septiembre. En cuanto al proyecto, su inicio de actividad se espera para 2024. |
