The government of Cuba approved the investments of five undisclosed foreign companies in the Zona Especial de Desarrollo Mariel, reported Infolatam on 24 May, 2015. The authorized companies come from the food and agriculture, electronics, chemistry, transport, and light manufacturing industries. The companies' installation works are expected to begin at the end of 2015 while their production is expected to start in 1H2016.

El Gobierno de Cuba ha aprobado las inversiones de cinco empresas extranjeras, de las cuales no se ha hecho pública su identidad, en la Zona Especial de Desarrollo Mariel, según ha publicado Infolatam en un artículo del 24 de mayo de 2015. Las empresas aprobadas están relacionadas con las áreas agroalimentaria, industria ligera, electrónica, química y transporte. Las obras de instalación de las empresas, está previsto que comiencen a finales de 2015, y que inicien su producción en el primer semestre del año 2016. |
