Ferrovial (BME:FER), a Madrid, Spain-based operator of transportation infrastructures and services provider, is negotiating the acquisition of Isolux's electricity transmission assets in Brazil, reported Reuters on 2 December 2016, citing a document issued by the company to the electric sector regulator.

According to the report, Ferrovial's interest is concentrated in three lots of Isolux's projects, two were sold by the company at a government concession auction in 2015 and one resulting from a 2014 bid.

According to Ferrovial, the company's intention is to complete the acquisition to then make the necessary guarantees with Aneel and continue advancing the projects. In October, the company acquired Chile-based power transmission company Transchile from Brazil-based Alupar (BVMF:ALUP11) and Cemig (BVMF:CMIG4; NYSECIG) (see related transaction).

Ferrovial (BME:FER), gestora de infraestructuras de transporte y proveedor de servicios con sede en Madrid, España, está negociando la adquisiciión de los activos de transmisión de electricidad en Brasil de Isolux, ha publicado Reuters el 2 de diciembre de 2016, citando un documento remitido por la empresa al regulador del sector eléctrico.

De acuerdo con lo publicado, el interés de Ferrovial estaría concentrado en tres lotes de proyectos de Isolux, dos de los cuales fueron adjudicados a la empresa en una subasta de 2015 y el tercero, en una subasta de 2014.

Según Ferrovial, la intención de la empresa es completar la adquisición de las líneas para luego hacer las garantías necesarias frente a Aneel y poder continuar con el avance de los proyectos. En octubre, la empresa ha adquirido la empresa chilena de transmisión eléctrica Transchile a las brasileñas Alupar (BVMF:ALUP11) y Cemig (BVMF:CMIG4; NYSECIG) (ver transacción relacionada).

O grupo espanhol Ferrovial (BME:FER) está em negociações para a aquisição de ativos de transmissão de eletricidade da Isolux no Brasil, de acordo com reportagem da Reuters publicada em 2 de dezembro de 2016, que cita um documento enviado pela companhia ao órgão regulador do setor elétrico.

O interesse da Ferrovial concentra-se em três lotes de empreendimentos da Isolux, sendo dois arrematados pela empresa em um leilão de concessões realizado pelo governo em 2015 e um resultante de uma licitação de 2014.

Segundo a Ferrovial, a intenção da empresa é fechar a compra das linhas para então fazer o aporte das garantias necessárias junto à Aneel e tocar os projetos. A companhia destacou que já realizou neste ano a compra de uma transmissora de eletricidade que as brasileiras Alupar (BVMF:ALUP11) e Cemig (BVMF:CMIG4; NYSECIG) operavam no Chile, a Transchile (ver transação relacionada).
