Euskaltel (BME: EKT) President, Alberto Garcia Erauzkin, said that in the future the company could re-bid for Spain-based Telecable de Asturias, which was acquired by Zegona (LSE: ZEG) in August 2015 (see related transaction ), as published by Expansión on 30 September 2015. Specifically, Alberto Garcia Erauzkin said Telecable de Asturias "has an owner who does not necessarily have a long-term vocation. This can be an opportunity in the future, but it is too soon". In this regard, Euskaltel will focus on closing the acquisition of R Cable, which is still pending approval from antitrust regulators. (see related transaction).

El presidente de la española Euskaltel (BME: EKT), Alberto García Erauzkin, ha señalado que en un futuro la compañía podría volver a pujar por la también española Telecable de Asturias, que ha sido adquirida por Zegona (LSE: ZEG) en agosto de 2015 (ver transacción relacionada), según ha señalado Expansión en una información del 30 de septiembre de 2015. En concreto, Alberto García Erauzkin ha declarado que Telecable de Asturias "tiene un dueño que no necesariamente tiene vocación a largo plazo. Puede ser una oportunidad en el futuro, pero es pronto". A este respecto, Euskaltel se centrará en cerrar la adquisición de R Cable, que aún debe ser aprobada por las autoridades de la competencia (ver transacción relacionada). |
