El Gobierno de Honduras se encuentra en proceso de búsqueda de una entidad financiera que financie la construcción de las Carreteras de Occidente. Concretamente, la inversión del proyecto de construcción, rehabilitación y operación de la red de carreteras asciende a un total de USD 350m aproximadamente. El proyecto pretende mejorar la red de carreteras de los departamentos hondureños de Cortés, Santa Bárbara, Copán y Ocotepeque, con una longitud aproximada de 340 km. Además, también contempla la ampliación de los tramos CA-4, CA-10 y CA-11. |
