El Corte Inglés, a Spain-based retailer, is interested in the Latin American market, reported El Economista on 31 August, 2015. The company will invest UER 1.2bn until 2020. In May 2015, the company announced a strategic alliance with Chile-based retail giant, Ripley (BCS:RIPLEY), to develop brand Sfera in Latin America (see related intel).

La empresa española El Corte Inglés ha mostrado interés por el mercado latinoamericano, según ha publicado el diario El Economista el 31 de agosto de 2015. La empresa invertirá EUR1.200m hasta el año 2020. El pasado mes de mayo, el grupo anunció la firma de una alianza estratégica con el gigante chileno de grandes almacenes Ripley (BCS:RIPLEY) con el objetivo de que la marca Sfera se desarrolle por Latinoamérica (Ver Intel relacionado). |
