The minority shareholders of Ecopetrol (BVC:ECOPETROL; NYSE:EC), a Colombia-based state-owned oil company, signed an agreement to nominate Carlos Gustavo Cano Sanz as an independent board member, announced the company in a filing published by regulator Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia on 3 February 2017. Specifically, the nomination will be put into consideration in the next general shareholders' assembly of Ecopetrol.

Los accionistas minoritarios de Ecopetrol (BVC:ECOPETROL; NYSE:EC), petrolera estatal colombiana, han firmado un acuerdo para postular a Carlos Gustavo Cano Sanz como miembro independiente de la junta directiva, ha anunciado la empresa en un hecho relevante publicado por la Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia el 3 de febrero de 2017. En concreto, la postulación será puesta a consideración en la próxima asamblea general de accionistas de Ecopetrol. |
