The board of directors of Empresa de Energía de Bogotá (EEB) (BVC:EEB), a Colombia-based company engaged in energy production and transportation, authorized the sale of the shares it holds in Colombia-based companies Interconexión Eléctrica - ISA (BVC:ISA), Banco Popular, Grupo Nutresa (BVC:NUTRESA), and Promigas (BVC:PROMIGAS), announced the company in a press release issued on 26 September 2016. Specifically, this decision, which includes the sale of shares EEB holds in ISA (1.67%), Banco Popular (0.11%), Grupo Nutresa (0.0001%), and Promigas (15.64%), was adopted following a new line of corporate strategy which includes the configuration of three strategic business groups: Urban Energy solutions, Interconnection for Market Development, and Low Emission Generation. The aim of the strategy is to position the company as one of the leading corporate groups in the energy chain in the region and one of the few that combines electricity and natural gas in an articulated manner.

La Junta Directiva de Empresa de Energía de Bogotá (EEB) (BVC:EEB), dedicada a la producción y transporte de energía, ha autorizado la puesta en venta de las acciones que posee en las colombianas Interconexión Eléctrica - ISA (BVC:ISA), Banco Popular, Grupo Nutresa (BVC:NUTRESA) y Promigás (BVC:PROMIGAS), ha informado la compañía en un comunicado de prensa publicado el 26 de septiembre de 2016. En concreto, esta decisión, que incluye la venta de las acciones que posee el grupo en ISA (1,67%), Banco Popular (0,11%), Grupo Nutresa (0,0001%) y Promigás (15,64%), ha sido adoptada siguiendo una nueva línea de estrategia corporativa que incluye la configuración de tres grandes grupos estratégicos de negocios: Soluciones Energéticas Urbanas, Interconexión para el Desarrollo de Mercados y Generación de Baja Emisión. El objetivo de esta estrategia es consolidarse como uno de los grupos empresariales líderes de la cadena energética en la región y uno de los pocos que combine energía eléctrica y gas natural de forma articulada. |
